Weavile is a case of a mon which can do everything, very well, with little to no answers. With it's massive base attack stat and speed, it threatens to KO everything but one Pokemon in the tier with Triple Axel, Knock Off, and Coverage. Weavile also lacked the drawback of being frail on average, meaning it could usually eat or take a couple hits before going down to a revenge killer, In fact, it could invalidate them completely with Ice Shard. The only mon which could consistently "counter" Weavile was dubwool, which could eat a hit from it and kill it back with Body Press. Dubwool however was bad into mostly everything else, and was used pretty much solely for the Weavile match up. Weavile was rerolled into Lucario, who proceeded to be an absolute menace.
