Shell smash Omastar is very very strong. The only pokemon that can live a +2 hit from Omastar with surf, ice beam, and earth power are Politoed, Ludicolo, AV eelektross, and AV Tangrowth. Not even Swellow outspeeds it at +2. Unfortunately, if your opponent has a Comfey, you can not ever shell smash because it might have giga drain. And if you have a Comfey and you don’t want to lose to Omastar, just keep that bad boy tucked in the back just in case. 

Swift Swim Specs Omastar in Rain is another option. And Politoed is not bad either, so there’s no reason not to give it a shot. I think the only guys who don’t get 2HKOed by surf are Politoed, Ludicolo, and Empoleon. Just watch out for Comfey again.

Omastar also has spikes. The only other one with spikes is heracross (I could be wrong). Omastar also has toxic spikes. Nidoking is probably better for that, though.
