Artistic Inspiration

"Acapulco"

Pablo Lopez Luz

2013

I really like this because it shows kind of a boundary between everyday life and vacation where vacation is glorified by the pool and the hotel with it being relaxing and everyday life being the edgy, sharp, rocky cliff with everything crashing into it at once.

Unnamed

Simen Johan

I really like this because of the mysterious thought of what is to come. Just like life it kind of shows a dark undiscovered path that this creature will eventually run into and explore.

"Lesser Spotted, Scotland"

Corey Arnold

I really like this because because of the detail. I like how you can see this animals expression and detailed emotion perceived by the photographer. I also how lit this photo. The high key lighting really brings out the color in the animal as well as the sky behind it.

"Ongoing"

Brian Ulrich

2013

I really like this because of all the contrasting colors it brings out. Going from dark to light (top to bottom). I also like the warmth and softness it brings out because of the clouds.

"Suburbia"

Bill Owens

I really like this photo because of childhood. It reminds me of a stress free time where I was free to do what I wanted, when I wanted without having to worry about the stressfulness of school or a job etc. It also shows how he can socialize with the close neighborhood as well as his transportation. It just recreates memories of a stress free time I wish I could enjoy again.
