Construction Inspector Certification Program

Colorado's Construction Inspector Certification Program has three exams that are now administered in CDOT's Learning Management System, SOC Learns. All CDOT Employees are assigned a SOC Learns account when they are hired. Click the links below to access the exams once you read about the Program.

About the Program

The Construction Inspector Certification program was created by CDOT in 2004 to develop a qualified inspection staff in order to obtain a higher-quality end product on the highway. All construction inspectors—whether from CDOT or a consultant—must demonstrate proficiency by passing the required exams and earning certification within the developed categories (EITs are exempt from the Basic Highway Math Exam).
