Taking a state holiday off
If you're taking the holiday off, you don't need to enter time in SAP for the 8-hour holiday
In SAP, holiday hours are calculated for you
working a state holiday
If You're Required to Work the Holiday
Report to work on the holiday.
In SAP, use A/A Type 061N or 061P (Time Worked-Alt Holiday) if you want to bank Alternate Holiday hours.
Be sure to work or account for all other expected regular hours in the holiday week.
NOTE: 8 hours is the max you can code to 061N or 061P on a holiday.
If the Holiday Is Your Regularly Scheduled Day Off
If your scheduled day off falls on a holiday, SAP will bank 8 hours for a future Alternate Holiday.
NOTE: If the holiday falls on a workday for which you are scheduled to work more than 8 hours, then you must code Annual Leave for the additional scheduled hours that day or work the hours at another time within the same work week.
GOVERNOR'S DAYs
If You're Taking a Governor's Day Off
To record time off, use SAP A/A Type 170P (Administrative Leave).
This Administrative Leave can only be used on or after the Governor's Day.
NOTE: 8 hours is the max you can record using this code.
If You're Required to Work a Governor's Day
Record Time for the Holiday You're Scheduled to Work
Report to work on the holiday.
In SAP, record your hours using your regular A/A Type.
You can take your hours as Admin Leave at another time in the fiscal year.
Use Your Administrative Leave Later
You must use your Admin Leave by the end of the fiscal year.
In SAP, use A/A Type 170P (Administrative Leave).
NOTE: SAP does not track Administrative Leave hours for Governor's Days; you must keep track of it.
If Governor's Day Is Your Regularly Scheduled Day Off
Record Time for the Holiday
You can take the hours as Admin Leave at another time in the fiscal year.
Use & Record Administrative Leave Later
You must use your Admin Leave by the end of the fiscal year
