This toolkit is for Maintenance employees seeking to develop their positional knowledge and skills. This toolkit is a study guide and completing these study guide materials does not guarantee a promotion.
Employees may apply for open Maintenance positions. The first step in the Comparative Analysis process for TM II, TM III, and LTC Ops I is a required, written job-knowledge assessment that allows employees to demonstrate their knowledge related to Maintenance technical information, specifications, policies, procedures, and more.
Candidates must pass this assessment with a score of 60% or better to move forward in the selection process for a Maintenance position. Candidates may take the assessment at any time, either before an announcement is posted or once an announcement is posted, as long as they meet the qualifications for the position.
Passing scores are valid for one year from the date of the assessment. Candidates who do not pass the required assessment must wait three months before retaking the assessment.
The toolkit contains:
Promotional process and confidentiality
Preparation guide and reading lists
Maintenance-related and impacted Policy Directives
Statutes
Manuals
Laws
Protocols
