In recent times, communication via the internet has become ubiquitous, and since more people are using digital platforms to communicate, elderly people are forced to communicate with others online. However, the elderly lived the majority of their lives without the Internet. As such, they have little to no experience with basic functions on a technological device such as a computer. In addition, the elderly struggle to remain in contact with their children and friends due to long distances. Thus, we thought: “How can the elderly keep in contact with their relatives when they struggle with using a device?” And so, Ease-mail was born. Ease-Mail, a program that teaches the basic fundamentals of understanding emails and how they work in a fun, interactive, and effective way.
The programme contains 3 tutorial options for the user to choose: Email address, Writing emails and Replying emails.
With all the features in this app, it will truly help the elderly “Ease Mail”!
