Problem statement
A very common problem in schools is that students constantly forget their homework. Yet another problem is that students and the general public, as a whole, are also unable to keep track of their goals. One common reason is that these students do not have a proper method of keeping track of their homework or goals and thus easily lose sight of their goals. Speaking from personal experience, both creators of Tryhard have had problems with punctual homework submission.
Solution
Our app TryHard was created in order to help students organise and catalogue their necessary homework and help remind the students at specific intervals of time. The app is designed to be user-friendly and easily accessible, with a simple and intuitive interface that allows students to quickly add and view their assignments and goals. It allows the students to clearly see and visualize their goals and to-dos, thus allowing less confusion.
Potential improvements
Add a share feature so teachers can note down the homework assignments
Allow students to edit and remove specific assignments instead of clearing them all
Add more features, such as blocking certain apps when the notification goes off
