HandThingy

What is it?

HandThingy is a project that merges robotics and computing in a solution that is efficient, cheap and available anywhere. We designed it to help people who are mute and/or deaf communicate better with other people. A Command Line Interface (CLI) is used to convert text to angle values that are then sent to servos in a 3D-printed hand, which executes finger motions to form signs in American Sign Language (ASL).
