We have recently noticed that Singaporean students face trouble learning their mother tongue. This is caused by many different reasons. Some may include difficulty in understanding the language, not enough experience using it, and for some students, their mother tongue may not be offered in Singaporean secondary schools. Therefore, some opt to take new mother tongues, such as Chinese. Thus, they might have trouble learning a third language. This is why we decided to create a unique solution to aid all of these problems.

Introducing Unolingo, the ultimate companion for Singaporean secondary school students on their language learning journey. 

Unolingo revolutionises mother tongue education by offering personalised support through its innovative features.  Upon creating an account with their email, students dive into a unique learning experience, starting with the Ability Quiz. 

This dynamic assessment tool assesses individual strengths and weaknesses across varying difficulty levels. Students can retake the quiz for a fresh challenge each time, ensuring continuous improvement. 

Unolingo goes beyond assessment with Targeted Practice, providing exercises based on the student's performance analysis. The app becomes a personalised mentor, guiding users to hone specific language skills and overcome challenges. The home page is a comprehensive dashboard, displaying a snapshot of strengths, weaknesses, and the number of quizzes attempted. In the future, we also plan on adding different mother-tongue languages, a wide question bank with many questions with varying difficulties and more additions to the user interface.
