About This Site

Computing can be applied to a wide variety of problems in society to facilitate a solution. This site showcases the projects that Computing+ students in the School of Science and Technology, Singapore have undertaken to create something for others in need, and by doing so, improve the community around them.

In Secondary 3, they research a problem that they are passionate about and used they knowledge of algorithmic thinking techniques and Python programming to plan a solution to this problem. In Secondary 4, they write, test and refine this solution as a program, written mainly in Python 3.

All the work on this site is created solely by our students. They have the agency to be the navigator in their own journey of learning and have taken initiative to find their own ways to overcome any obstacles they may meet. Through the completion of their projects, not only have they grown in Computing skill and knowledge, but also in empathy and self-mastery.
