According to a study by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on global health, one in three Singaporeans does not lead an active lifestyle. Both genders are behind the global average on weekly targets for physical activities, especially for females. The recommended amount of exercise for an adult is 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity a week. An inactive lifestyle may cause some serious issues such as obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and double the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
The goal of this project is to write, test, and optimize software that encourages users to be more physically active and maintain a healthy diet. The software would provide them with fitness and exercise routines, options for healthy food, and how many calories of the food they can consume.
