There are a number of factors that come into play for a wireless connection.
Distance
Doing your best to minimize the distance from the device to the wireless router is your best bet. We recommend the device is within 30 feet of your wireless router. If possible, having the router in a central location in your home will ensure all devices maintain a good connection. For larger homes, wireless range extenders might help out as well. If you are within 30 feet and still experience drops, you might have an issue with several other devices being connected at the same time.
Other Devices
Remember that broadband is a shared connection in your home. If you have several devices in your home that you are streaming content on, may explain why you are experiencing drops. Try streaming just on the VIZIO device with no other devices streaming or using the internet. Did that make a difference? If so, it might be a limitation of your internet speed. If your TV or Audio product is the only thing you are currently using and you are still experiencing drops you might be experiencing wireless interference.
Interference
There are settings within your wireless router that can be adjusted that may help with wireless interference. Changing the channel the wireless router broadcasts on may help. This will usually be set to automatic. Give your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or Router Manufacturer a call for how to make these changes.
If you have the ability to hardwire the TV to the router, this would be a direct connection, and bypass any wireless interference you may be experiencing
