Buzzing, crackling, or humming sounds from your TV speakers can ruin your TV watching experience. These sounds can be caused by incorrect or loose connections, defective or broken cables or a defective external device connected to the TV
Check the cables.
Make sure all cables are connected firmly to the proper, color coded inputs on the TV and on the external devices.
For component connections, make sure the two red connections are connected to the correct audio and video outputs and inputs. There is a red audio connection and a red video connection.
For RF coaxial cable from an antenna or cable provider, change to another channel. If the buzzing stops, the TV is not the cause of the problem.
Replace the audio connection cable.
Replace the audio connection cable, even it is an HDMI or RF coaxial cable. Then test again to see if the issue still occurs.
If the buzzing, crackling, or humming continues after replacing the audio cable, the TV requires service. Please visit the Support Center to request service.
Try connecting a different external device to the same input on the TV.
Connect a different device to the same input on the TV using the same connection cables.
If a cable box is connected using the Component connections, try connecting a DVD player to the same input with the same cables.
If there is no buzzing, crackling, or humming with the second external device connected, the original device (in this example the cable box) is the source of the noise.
Connect the external device to a different TV.
Connect the external device to a different TV using the same connections cables.
If a DVD player is connected to the TV with the Component connections, connect the DVD player to another TV using the same component connections.
If the buzzing, crackling, or humming continues from the second TV, the Samsung TV is not the cause of the problem.
