~ Tango Escondido ~
Ph.3 Tango
Song: Hernando's Hideaway
from the musical "The Pajama Game"
Observe the dance
cues: Chuck Ryall
LEARNING THE DANCE
There are no new cues; however, there is some tricky choreography.
Notice frequent change from BJO to SCAR positions.
The "turn" to BJO is a positioning rather than a TURN step. The turn occurs on
anticipating first step of the "Turn to BJO WALK 2."
Three steps are used when M WALKS 2 and then TRNS to SCAR.
As M does the BACK, SIDE, THRU (SCP), the W merely walks forward 3.
WALK and FACE are 2 steps, timing: SS.
VINE 3 and ROCKS are as in previously learned "Tango d'Ideas"
GAUCHO TURNS are same as in previously learned "Orchids in the Moonlight":
Left-Face turning with 8 weight changes.
DIPS are requested throughout, saving the SIDE CORTE for finale.
