In SCP facing LOD, step sd & fwd L (W sd & fwd R), -, thru turning in, -;
swivel to reverse step thru L (W R) to rev, sd to closed wall, draw lead foot to trail no weight change, -;
Flare
Slightly off the floor, the free foot arcs out to the side. Either forward or backward as directed.
Flick
In one beat, bring free heel above other foot and across opposite ankle,
then return it to starting position with no weight change.
He Flicks, She Flares
In one beat, woman FLARES in a pivot to SCP while at the same time, the man
FLICKS his trail foot across the lead foot. Styling is usually to quickly elevate the "flick" foot
with heel lead up by bending the knee. Ends in SCP, trail feet free.
