Difficulty: Very easy.
CONCEPT
Lines of 3 (trio) facing LOD.
The "wild turkey" is the lead dancer in the middle of the trio.
The two other dancers remain a team throughout the dance.
The caller tells the Wild Turkey what to do.
The "mix" is created by having the Wild Turkey move on to another team.
Suggestion: The more confident dancers should take the middle ("wild turkey") position.
Timing note: There are 3 measures (12 steps) for the turkey to make the Figure 8.
Learning curve: The outside dancers are not designated as "current partner" or "corner,"
so this dance may be used prior to establishing relationships.
The turkey's pattern is not labeled as a Fig.8.
