Formation. Facing contra lines across from partner.

Leaders all with Left shoulder to music source.

Choreo Preference:

1. Honors (the bow and courtsey)

2. Star Right (Top two couples)

3. Star Left (Top two couples)

4. Lead couple down the gauntlet with a hand-shake hand-hold...

5. and return to top

6. Cast away (couple separates and peels off down the outside of set with others following)

7. Meet partners, join inside hands and go to top of set

8. Lead couple goes though the tunnel (formed by others with arch hand-holds) to bottom of set.

9. Acknowledgement (ending: the bow and courtsey) Thank partner and entire set.

Figures 2 through 8 repeat until music ends at Fig. 9.

Dancers remain in place and clap in time to extra music between Fig.8 and loop to Fig. 2.

CAUTION:

This dance includes some variations and versions, including the number of measures of music

to perform some of the figures.

The first clip above [the OBSERVE clip] is a variation using 3 measures after the cast off

until start of the tunnel journey. Preference is for versions using 2 measures there and having

the extra measure for the clapping segment after Fig. 8.
