After a hiatus, from playing, our group is back in the saddle! Their characters were on the verge of being attackeD when we last stopped...
So, a large green, ooze-like creature drops from the ceiling, and thanks to an adventure card played by the group, more ooze joins the original mass on the floor. The creature rolls over Toph, and begins to try and digest him. Toph hits it with the red nose o' death, and it falls apart. So do his clothes. The acidic ooze eats through all of his non magical gear like a fat kid through cake.
The ooze also weakens the floor, and the boys, knowing that they need to head down to turn on the power, decide to cut a hole in the floor, and see whats down below. Nope, they didn't look for stairs or a secret door. they cut a hole in the floor.
So, what they find is a piece of an imagined reality. Its a hallway, covered in some sort of black, chitinous material. And the floor is covered in a viscous sludge. There is a man attached to the wall by unknown means, almost like he was cocooned.
Specter and Toph jump down into the hole. Specter, using his psychic ability, can see the two over-lapping realities. if the hall reality were to dissipate, the two men would be buried in rock. Not good. Above, Clarise readies a match to light the liquid on fire. The two examine the man, he is barely alive. The two move further into the hall, toward a four way junction. Suddenly, the man on the wall begins to scream. and a "thing" pops through his chest, and lands in the liquid. It seems to be slowly moving toward Specter and Toph. Clarise lights the floor liquid on fire, and the stuff flashes at the surface. fire rolls down the hallway towards the two men, but both are unharmed, as they are immune to fire.
Clarise, Addan, Gypsy, and everyone else jump in too. They head to the junction, the still between the two groups, and head left. at the end of the hall is a door, which they open. Victor wakes up out of his stupor and is ready to act.
The door opens into a twilight wood, filled with glowing plants and fungi, and large number of small pixies float across the area, and wave to the group. The beasty from the man's chest leaps through the door, past the group, and eats a pixie. and then is badly killed. The remaining pixies form circles in mid-air and turn to large balls of light. The ever curious and slightly insane Clarise, hunts down a fairy, grabs it, smashes it, and snorts the dusty remains. She begins to glow, and leave a trail of dust...
The forest is suddenly filled with large centaurs, satyrs, treants, elves, and more, all armed, and demanding that Clarise go with them to see the Queen. The rest of the group is allowed to come long. It is a grueling two hour walk before Specter notices a change in the overlapping realities, seing a train tunnel. and Clarise has begun to notice that she is growing smaller. Another two hours shows a second one and Clarise's mid-back is itching, and two lumps are protruding from her flesh. The group finally arrives at a circle of standing stones, , where there are literally thousands of armed tough-looking mythical creatures, and see a beautiful fae woman sitting on a delicate looking glass throne. She bids Clarise to enter the center of the grove, stepping into the small stone circle in the center of the enclosure, and waring the rest of the group to not approach. Clarise is accused of killing a pixie, and sentenced to a harsh punishment. The queen enacts a barrier in the small center circle, and no one can move in or out through it. A bowl appears in the middle, and Clarise is told to drink from it. Eventually, with the threat of staying in this place forever, she does.
A light burning sensation hits her gut, then travels to her head. Her personal demon and Clarise now see and feel a third presence inside of her head. it seems to have gained quite a bit of room, roughly about a thrd, and feels pretty permanent. uh oh...
After this, The Fae Court laughs maniacally, They escort the group 4 hours back through the enchanted forest, and through the door, back into the hallway.
Once here, the group moves back to the junction, and takes a left. There are more bodies, which are filled with bullets by the group, and left for dead, the creatures inside of them in their death throws.
The door opens into a cavern filed with crystals, and rough gems as well as precious stones in the walls, definitely not natural.
There is a section of track ahead, and quite a few carts along it. the sound of hammer striking rock echoes from the caverns. One would have to squint hard in the dim light, but it becomes easier to see the small gnomish figures mining the walls, carefully removing stones. and placing them into the carts. The group decides to approach one of the gnomes, and talk to it. But, as they do, a rumbling sound echoes through the tunnel, and the ground begins to shake. Many of the gnomes scatter for cover, but one doesn't. A large hand pushes through the ceiling of the cavern, and grabs the gnome still standing up,
The hand is huge!
The group rushes over to see what happened, and examines the ceiling. They see a hole, now filled with debre, and now notice, that this hole is not the only one. The group waits, and the rumbling starts again. Toph grabs on to the hand as the large hand grabs another gnome, and Clarise grabs onto him. Specter and Gypsy fly through the hole at top speed. Addan, Marcus, and Victor are left in stunned silence. The group is pulled into sunlight, and find themselves in a large garden that must cover three or four acres. The party makes short work of the male giant, Specter and Gypsy use some fancy shapeshifting to plow through the ears of the male giant, who might or might not be Kanye, and then the giant's wife gets the same treatment. They take out the giant's dog as well. After, they dig their way back down, and rejoin the rest of the group. the party follows the gnome they saved on the surface to the Gnome City. Al the while the little gnome tells the group how he and his fellow miners were unfairly persecuted by the giants, something about mining into the roots of the plants in the garden. That's right. Thoses innocent Giants were just trying to de-gnome their garden...
The gnome city is sparkly. The group is escorted to the King, and Toph. is awarded the one and only Hero medal. Huge Honor. All the bearded women are humping Toph legs. The group is given 'feel better' crystals, and they have their wounds and fatigue removed before the crystals crumble to a white dust. When they ask about these magic gems, the King explains that they are super rare, and usually any that are found are given to the Dragon, When the group asks about the Dragon, the gnomes reply, umm, yeah, the Dragon. the one we pay a tribute of magical gems to, or it eats us.
The boys have been looking for a dragon to capture, and try to mate with Addan to create super dragon foo dogs.
As the boys get ready to go, they see lots of signs posted around the tunnel to the dragon. Signs like be warned, dragon. Or, Safety tip, stay away from the carnivorous dragon. As they walk down the beginnings of this tunnel, there are yet more and more signs, All the sign warn of imminent death and destruction by dragon.
The group keeps going.
The signs stop.
The group keeps going, ignoring the charred remains of the old signs on their quest for dragon-dog babies.
A terrifying voice echoes down the hall. "I can smell you. And, I smell one of the Fae with you. If the Fae comes to me alone, I will spare the rest of you from death..."
The group keeps going.
The voice speaks, "I can hear all of you still coming to me. I did warn you"
There is a horrific intake of air through the cavern,
Toph throws a barrier up in the hall, and everybody starts to run.
The heat can be felt through the barrier, and as the wall starts to buckle, the entire group blinks at the same time. they find themselves on a deserted island surrounded by water. A number of coconut trees cover the island, and some group members climb up to get a better look. Lo and behold, they see a ship on the horizon. Luckily for the group, Clarise glows golden like a lighthouse beacon. The curious sailors launch boats to check out the island and the golden woman.
What they find is a motley crew of half dead, looking gents and a smallish-looking woman. who is glowing, but the thought occurs to some of the men that this woman is not made of gold. and any woman with magic is a witch. And, sailors have no interest in witches. It takes convincing to let the group in the boats, and the death of the ship's captain to let everyone on board the vessel. This ship was heading for Tortuga, and debauchery on an epic level. So, Toph declares himself Captain, and convinces the rest of the crew that the group wont kill them, and they are off.
Two weeks at sea lands the vessel at Tortuga. The crew disappears into the hundreds of bars and taverns here, and the party starts to take over the town. Eventually, Toph is declared King of Tortuga. But the group finally realizes that all of this is not right. This Tortuga is set in the 1600's. and they haven't time trveled, so...

The group finally disbelieves the false reality, and finds themselves outside of Roswell. At the beginning. Sigh.
