East on I-80

Previously, on South, to Wells

And now...

With night approaching, Wade makes his way out of Wells, thinking that his nightly visitor might cause a scene. He rides out, only to get caught in a storm, that seems able to hurt even him, and takes shelter under an outcrop of rock a bit off the highway.

The celebration back in town is interrupted by the same storm, and continues back at the bar.

At dawn, The group decides to head East to Junkyard in their new, fancy big rig. Wade makes his change back to a man and meets up with the group. The party heads east along highway 80.

That is, until four cars appear in their rear-view mirrors. And, then five more show up in front of them. An airplane circles overhead, seeming to observe the whole incident.

The group stops the truck, seeing that there are four heavy guns pointed at the rig, and then they attack as four of the raiders get out of four different cars. The group takes out all four of the heavy guns, and kills some of the drivers of the faster cars. They take out the leader of this road gang, and even save someone to question.

Their captive reveals that this group is part of a larger gang that patrols this whole highway, and that there are definitely more on the road heading east. He mentions that the plane overhead is with the gang, and is probably reporting back to the leader.

The party takes stock of their new, shiny toys, and begins to plan for trouble.
