Roarik Eriksen

I was born in a small Mithali Farming Village. My father was a Famous retired Rune Warrior, whos soul was bound to his sword.

My father trained me from a young age so that when when latent runic abiltys reveal them selfs i would be ready. Ever since i was a boy i could see a shape in my dreams secluded in a fog i, somtimes i can almost make it out. Anyway, as a boy my Mother who was the village physician, taught me how to forage for medicinal herbs, as well as what plants to avoid.

Becuase of this i also took an intrest in creating posions as a hobby, just to see if i could. 

I devolped my own poision, made of mostly toxic mushrooms. On my 19th birthday my village was sacked by a band of Vestri raiders.

I witnessed my father die fighting, just befor i was hit hard over the back of the head with somthing blunt.

when i awoke i was chained at the hands and feet as were many others of my village. For sometime we traveled with our capturs for months befor being sold to a sailor. During that time i got to know my capturs well. The leader whos face i will never forget, took a liking to my fathers sword it seems. Ive seen him waring it straped across his back. My fathers soul is bound to that sword even in death. 

I must get the sword back at any cost. I need to get stronger.

For the last 6 month i have been chained to this oar, i can feel my self becoming weaker.

A blade of exquisite make, rumored to have been forged by the Sons of Ivaldi. This particular blade has been passed from father to son for many generations, and has gained strength by being used as a runeblade. Much of the blades power is locked away, the gods only know what will free that power...
