Stealing Stone's Stone

After waiting around for freakin' ever, we finally heard the caravan approaching, mostly because of all the explosion sounds coming from it. Turns out our old nemesis Stone had found the convoy before us, and was hitting it with tons of awesome firepower. We managed to swoop in with the tank and snatch the thing right out from under Stone, and saw that he was packin' some new upgrades. The dude went and got himself cyberized, with a new arm, laser eye, and probably some rocket jets somewhere too. Lucky for us a helicopter showed up to take his attention while we hauled ass back to the airfield.

We made it to a hanger and were ready to wait for our epic getaway, when Stone freakin' teleported into the place! Edwin managed to hold him off using some messed up symbiote crap, and in the process even melted off Stone's cyber-parts. The plane made it just in time, and we loaded everything in and took off with the door still open, which gave us a nice view to watch Stone disappear into a shadow. Guess that guy's got some tricks we didn't know about. Safe in the air, we checked our new package and found the biggest Ghost Rock any of us have ever seen. It gave off some weird vibes, and nobody wanted to look at it, so we stowed it and directed the plane back to Junkyard.

This may have been the first time we landed a plane without it exploding, though the last two were totally the Sky Pirates' fault. Wade handed off the "Ghost Diamond" to some friends of his, but not before securing, masking, and trapping the hell out of it so Stone wouldn't be able to steal it back. Bringing back such a bodacious rock scored us some sweet rewards in Junkyard, most importantly a mega-super-hideout with custom rooms and security. We even have sharks with rad lasers on their heads, AND laser turrets because you can never have too many lasers. Not surprisingly, we almost immediately had some chick try to infiltrate the place so she could kill us, but the lasers totally fried her (and our door guy). Turns out she was a robot though, so looks like those Combine dudes are still after us.
