Calder was a sailor. On a return voyage after a series of very successful raids he came to odds with the ships crew. In their arrogance they refused to make the sacrifices to Aegir for safe passage. He pleaded and then attempted to sacrifice a slave on his own. Foiled in his attempt Calder was bound with rope to be judged once they returned. Furious while most of the crew slept one night Aegir reached up from the depths and created a massive storm to sink the ship. Calder struggled but broke free of his bonds. All life begins and ends with the sea. Send them to me
