oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

1 ½ cups butter

2 cups br. Sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

½ cup water

2 tsp. vanilla

2 cups flour

2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. b. soda

6 cups oatmeal

1-2 bags (12 oz.) chips of choice

Mix dry ingredients together except oatmeal.

Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar.

Blend in eggs, one at a time.

Blend in water and vanilla, then dry ingredients.

Mix well and blend in oatmeal.

Then add chips.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
