not sure why anyone would want this...
4 pounds whole small mushrooms
Salt &Pepper
Garlic powder
2 8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 pound bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (1- 1 ½ cups)
2 links of Johnsonville chicken sausage (3 cheese Italian) chopped into 1/8 inch chunks (Optional)
1 tiny red onion minced
1 tsp.horseradish
1 pound Monterey Jack cheese grated
- De-stem mushrooms. Chop stems into small pieces and fry with S & P and garlic powder. Mix with next 5 ingredients.
- Cook mushroom caps upside down for 30 minutes in a 300 degree oven. Drain upside-down on paper towels to cool and dry.
- Stuff and top with cheese. Bake 10-20 minutes.
