Open Meeting
June minutes approved.
June financial report approved.
Buildings
Bell to Walker building was first row to be painted – 7 years ago.
Lynn has record of what has been done on AC units and the past rotation. Future rotation to be determined by new board.
Lynn has approx. 5 cement boards
Second line to Carma Richens sump pump to allow better drainage.
Grounds
Reynolds’s popular trees: Lynn obtained three bids for removal and stump grinding. Our landscaper’s bid was lowest: $2,000. All in favor (Thad abstained) to use reserves funds to take this action.
Other tree problems noted but actions deferred.
Approval for increased budget for sprinkler repairs and replacements.
Sidewalks – Lynn and Robb will search past payments to find name of cement-grinding contractor who did previous work.
Fire pit faucet – Bid to run pipe from Merrill’s tap to pit: $200-400. Approval to move ahead.
Parking
Frequent out-of-compliance parking of vehicles on Candlewood roadway and in restricted one-hour spaces sign posted at the east end of Candlewood. Parking on road way blocks fire lane and residents’ access to their own garages. Board approved a system of placing printed notifications on windshields of violations – Two warnings followed by booting the car.
Misc.
Mortgage broker for sale of Vance unit requests three documents: Most recent minutes, financials and restrictive convents. Diana will forward these documents to him.
