Minutes - April 14, 2016 – SCOA Board Meeting
Present: Jeff Brady, Jane Birch, Robb Abegg, Diana Mahony, Thad Johnson, Lynn Jensen

Open meeting: No owners or residents attending
· March minutes and March financial reports approved·
Robb presented April financial report. End of quarter transfer of $5,880 ($35 x 56 x 3) to reserves from financials
· Lynn: Removal of bushes by pool needs to be completed. $200.00 approved to pay someone other than our landscapers (too expensive) to complete job. Creeping Jenny or other ground cover suggested for that area.
Landscapers started mowing, but were rained out. Will continue as weather allows.
Several timers and sprinklers have been replaced.
· Pool: Discussion of whether contract should include clause that indicates that the subcontractor is aware of and trained to safely handle potential hazards related to chemicals, and so forth. Inclusion of this clause was moved and approved, but no conclusion yet as to the details of this clause.
Suggestion of Improved signage about pool use, pool rules sent out again.
· Lynn will retire as on-site property manager in December. He will make a list of the duties and help his replacement with the transition.
