Minutes of SCOA board meeting December 14, 2011.
Opening prayer: Lynn Jensen
All board members were present.
Collette Crawford had been asked to review the financial records but has been too busy. Mike suggested using his CPA firm. Their charge is $80 to $90 an hour.
Lynn suggested getting an independent 3rd party. (No decision was made).
Board members were asked to review the new draft of governing documents for a meeting next month. A separate meeting will be held in January for this purpose.
There is no update on FHA re-qualification.
Mike suggested getting new folding chairs for the club house. It was moved and seconded that 30 chairs be purchased.
The old truck that had been stored in the east parking area has been removed.
The annual meeting will be held in February. Mike and Parley's terms on the board will expire, and elections will be held. Carma will send out letters requesting
nominees for these positions. They must be returned by January 10, 2012. The year end report will be prepared with the financial report showing money budgeted by category
and the money spent by category, plus projected plans for the new year.
Comcast has increased their costs by $l.47 per unit. Rick contacted Direct T.V., but their cost is no better.
Questar will need to replace all gas lines in our area, but it won't be done now.
Parley was excused for the remainder of the meeting.
Carma is to give Mike e-mail addresses for Grahams, Graffs, and Johnsons.
Stroshines are moving.
A bill was received from the County on the pool. Ken to call and see what it was for.
The Robinsons and Gehrings are very pleased with the repair on their roofs. However, addition equipment was needed to make the repairs and the cost was more
than the contractor anticipated. Rick is to have the contractor come back and check on work required and submit a new price for future work.
