AIX EN PROVENCE: you will visit the fountains, the famous Cours Mirabeau, the private mansions, the places frequented by the painter Paul Cezanne. Walk on the Cours Mirabeau lined with 17th and 18th centuries private mansions, where large plane trees offer shade on hot summer days. The old town is packed with shops, architectural and religious sites, bustling squares and refreshing fountains. Take a stroll through one of the numerous markets taking place every day in the center of the city. Aix is also the birthplace of the painter Paul Cézanne. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Cézanne's studio that was built from his own plans and where time seems to stand still (entrance tickets for this optional stop are not included - €6 per person)
CASSIS: is a very ancient fishing port and the harbor is probably the most beautiful part of the village.You will have the possibility to board a 45-minute boat trip to discover 3 Calanques, steep-walled coves with tiny harbors or beaches at the end (tickets for this optional stop are not included - €16 per person approx).
MARSEILLE: photo stop at Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica. From this elevated area, you will enjoy a breathtaking view on the Phocaean city, the Frioul islands and If Castle. Drive along the Corniche Road, a holiday symbol and outward sign of wealth for merchants and the bourgeois from the 19th century who built magnificent houses with many splendid ostentatious features. You will then reach Saint-Victor abbey (11th century) that overlooks the entry to the Vieux-Port (Old Port).
WINE TOUR: in this wine tour around Aix-en-Provence you will be escorted to the beautiful wine regions of Provence through breathtaking landscapes.With your expert wine guide you will be visiting family-owned wineries, learn about the wine making process, grape varieties and the aging of wine. You will also taste different types of world renowned Provence wines. You will visit 1 or 2 wineries (depending on current conditions) and taste 5 different wines each winery. Wine tasting and winery visits cost are not included in the above-mentioned price and must be paid on site (€10 per person at each winery) or can be collected by your driver at pick up time.
LUBERON VILLAGES: you will be taken on the Luberon road to see the Provence landscapes and visit the charming Provencal villages of Lourmarin, its castle and the villages around. Visit the castle and medieval sites. Afterward, take the lavender road for a photo session in the lavender fields (ONLY from the 10th of June to the 20th of July).
AVIGNON: Discover the Pope city with your guide during a walking guided tour of the historic center (40mn). You will see the famous Avignon Bridge, cathedral and garden of the Doms, church Saint Pierre, Horloge square and pope city. You can decide to visit the pope palace on your own (tickets for the Pope Palace is not included - €13 per person) or enjoy free time in the city center (40 mn) or lunch in a terrasse restaurant.
CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE: You will reach the village of Châteauneuf du pape dominated by the ancient pope summer residence, an old castle ruin. You will visit 2 different cellars and enjoy 2 wines tasting (€5 per person at each winery) in old cellar used by the Popes at the time they were sovereign in Avignon. The professional sommeliers and owners of the cellars will guide you through tasting of different types of Châteauneuf du Pape wines. Tasting of 3 wines AOC of Chateauneuf du pape, red and white in each place.
ARLES: Discover the ancient city of Arles. Walking tour of the historical center with your guide to discover the main Roman monument, the arena, the amphitheater, Saint Trophime church, Van Gogh’s hospital, summer garden and café. Market on Saturdays.
BAUX DE PROVENCE: Drive to Baux de Provence and free time at leisure in the village. Lunch at leisure in the medieval village. Free time to explore the village and castle. You can decide according to your schedule to visit the Carrieres de lumiere art show (tickets for this optional stop are not included - €11 per person approx). Enjoy a 40mn show in this huge (7000 m²) ancient limestone quarry where natural limestone giant walls act like 3D screens. Discover the works of great 16th century painters, this year’s exhibition is dedicated to “The Fantastic and Wonderful World of Bosch, Bruegel, and Arcimboldo”.

Tour Description

NOTE that the itinerary can be customized and coordinated directly with the driver according to your specific needs and/or preferences.
Pick up in the morning from the port reaching Pisa after about 50-60 min. We will stop in Pisa directly in Miracle Square ranks as one of the world's lovelist squares where you can admire “La Torre Pendente” The leaning Tower Pisa's majestic Romanesque Cathedral and the unusual round Baptistry. You will have an opportunity to climb the Leaning Tower (takes 30 min).
We will continue for a 1 hour drive to Florence.
The tour of Florence starts with the wonderful Michelangelo Square where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the city.
The tour continues to the historical downtown area through which the driver will take you providing an overview.
Your driver will drop you off in the historical area where you will be given free time to visit independently the beautiful Santa Croce Square, the Brunelleschi Dome, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio the bridge famous for its unique charming appearance and for the fabulous jewelry shops.
If interested, you will have limited time to visit to the Academy of Fine Arts (purchase tickets here) where the Michelangelo’s David is, or Uffizi Gallery (purchase tickets here). You must have prepurchased skip the lines entrance tickets (not included in the tour price).
Your drive back to La Spezia will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Depending on traffic conditions and special events at Vatican or other locations the itinerary may need to be rearranged.

Arrive at Colosseum and visit area
Arrive at Trevi Fountain and visit, then walk with assistant and visit Panteon and Piazza Navona. If traveling by van your will not need to walk as the driver will take you to each different area.
Reach the Vatican Area. VATICAN DRESS CODE: The Vatican has a very specific dress code, to be taken quite seriously especially: no exposed shoulders, knees, midriffs, or (for the ladies) cleavage.
