EXCLUSIONS:

Bus Tour Itinerary Note: unlike vans buses have limited access to restricted areas

This tour allows you to visit all of Rome main sites traveling by bus and being accompanied by a professional touristic escort.

You can add an optional guide service who will conduct guided walking tours of the visited sites. In case you choose the professional touristic escort only, you will be following the same itinerary, but you will have more free time at each stop.The touristic escort can walk with you but does not have the permit to provide historical and cultural information during the walking part of the tour.

NOTE: extensive walking is involved. Wear comfortable shoes.

Depending on traffic conditions and special events at Vatican or other locations the itinerary may need to be rearranged.

Pick up at the port. Drive to Rome, about 1.5h.
Reach the Vatican Area and visit S. Peter's Square. You may be able to enter S. Peter's Basilica (free to enter), however you will need to pass security check which is likely to have a very long line - VATICAN DRESS CODE: The Vatican has a very specific dress code, to be taken quite seriously especially: no exposed shoulders, knees, midriffs, or (for the ladies) cleavage.
The rest of the day can be organized in two different ways (coordinated directly with the assistant/guide)
Option 1: Trevi, Lunch, Pantheon, Navona Square and Colosseum and Forum
- Arrive at Trevi Fountain and visit
- Walk with assistant and visit Panteon and Piazza Navona
- Walk to bus parking area. Reach and visit Colosseum.
- Drive back to port (approximate 1.5h drive time)
Option 2: Colosseum and Forum, Trevi, Lunch, Pantheon, Navona Square
- Arrive at Colosseum and visit area
- Arrive at Trevi Fountain and visit, then walk with assistant and visit Panteon and Piazza Navona
- Walk to bus parking area for departure. Drive to port (approximate 1.5h drive time)
