Request:  I only wanted a quote for the transfer from the Hotel Tirreno in Rome to the Port of Civitevecchia.

I would want a bus if it is able to come to the hotel door for pickup and I would want the "group" price - I will collect payments. 

I may also need a transfer from the port to the airport and train station after the cruise on Sep 30, one transfer with 2 stops ( stop first at airport then continue with second group to Termini)

ONE WAY TRANSFER

TRAVEL TIME:  1 to 1.5h depending on traffic

PICK UP: Piazza di San Martino ai Monti. This square is the closest point to your hotel than can be reached by bus (1 minute walk, 100 yards). You can have a look at this map.

MEETING POINT: A Touristic Escort will pick you up from your hotel (he/she will hold a sing with your name) and he/she will walk you to "Piazza di San Martino ai Monti" where you will find the bus waiting for you. 

DROP OFF: The price includes the drop off at ship's pier. However, since we do not know if it will be possible to drop you off directly at your ship's pier yet (as permissions are given about 2 or 3 months in advance), in case permission is not granted the difference will be detracted from the balance. We do not have problems with these permissions but since we do not have control over this situation, we wish to make sure you are aware of the very remote possibility.

UPDATE ON DROP OFF: You will be dropped off at the not gate port exit. Therefore, in order to reach your ship's pier you will have to take the free port mobility shuttle that connects the bus parking area to your pier.

Description

With this excursion you will have a complete visit of Athens. The private bus will take you to the major sights and highlights. The staff will meet you at your ship pier at the port of Piraeus and you will be escorted on board for the transfer to Athens. You will have short stops at the major highlights in order to visit them. Your tour guide will give you an explanation of each site. You will also have free time to have lunch and shopping in the Plaka district before to get on board again.

Group leader receives a EUR 31.50 discount for the 8 people booked in a van

NOTE: If the group books 4 full vans (each with 8 people precisely), the leader receives 2 free tickets (1/2 ticket for each booked full van), so there will be 30 paying people and 32 travelers.

Pompeii Walk along guide: the price per person varies according to the number of people in the group. If the group has only 8 people then the additional cost for the Private walking tour of Pompeii would be EUR 22 per person (or 11 for the leader). If there are going to be 32 travelers, the additional cost for the Private walking tour of Pompeii would be EUR 10 per person (leader gets 2 free tours). Everybody must pay the entrance to Pompeii (no leader discounts).

INCLUSIONS: 

• • Travel in an air-conditioned  8 or 7 seats vans or minibus (for groups o 9 or more people).

  • Licensed English speaking professional driver. In Italy the drivers cannot walk with customers, they will provide useful information while in or near the vehicle)

  • The driver will assist you with basic information and suggestions. 

  • Prices include all taxes and fees, no hidden costs.

Tour Description

Pompeii and Amalfi Coast are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites and among the most visited destinations in Italy. This day tour excursion highlights the best the region has to offer, from the impressive ancient city of Pompeii to a visit of the enchanting Sorrento and the charming seaside village of Positano and Amalfi.

Proposed Itinerary (may be reversed or rearranged as needed)

• • Pick up  at cruise ship’s pier (driver will have a sign with your name)

  • Reach Pompeii and spend 2 hours for a visit of the site (€15,00 entrance tickets to be purchased on site). 

  • Travelers have the opportunity to reserve a 2 hours private guided tour of the site for an additional charge (advance reservation required).

  • Drive to Sorrento for a visit of this beautiful town and stop there for shopping and lunch.

  • Drive to Positano and stop for a panoramic overview of of the town from above (picture stop).

  • The remaining part of the itinerary may vary depending on the vehicle size booked:

    • • IF TRAVELING BY VAN (for a group of up to 8 people)  travelers will be able to decide if they wish to descend to the town of Positano for a visit of this picturesque town (considered the jewel of the coast)  OR continue driving to Amalfi along the panoramic windy road and stop for a visit of the town and it’s very beautiful duomo.

      •  IF TRAVELING BY MINIBUS (9 people or more) travelers will continue driving to Amalfi along the panoramic winding road and stop for a visit of the town and it’s very beautiful duomo (the option of descending to visit Positano is not available as vehicles larger than an 8 seats van have limited access to the Positano downtown area).

  • Drive back to the port.
