Whit this Full Day excursion you will have plenty of time in each site you are going to visit. .

• Pick up at cruise ship’s pier (driver will have a sign with your name)

• Depart pier and drive along the sea front to see the many beautiful buildings of the area.

• Visit one of Mallorca's most important medieval monuments: the Bellver Castle, which stands on a hill and offers an astounding view of Palma and its port.

• Drive to Sóller valley/ beach d'En Repic to enjoy beautiful views of Port de Sóller.

  • Optionally (to be coordinated at the beginning of the tour with guide) make and additional stop at Valldemossa  to explore this charming village and the surroundings of la Cartuja.

• Drive back to Palma de Mallorca and take a walking tour of the Gothic quarter, La Seu Cathedral (optional visit), the city hall in Plaza de Cort, Almudaina Palace and the historic stock exchange building (La Lonja), the most important monument in the city center.

Viterbo (see pictures here):

Viterbo is a dazzling ancient city situated between two magnificent lakes, Bolsena and Vico. Enclosed by walls made of lava stone, Viterbo has spectacularly preserved medieval architecture (one of the best in Italy) and an abundance of antique shops. The main attraction in Viterbo is the Papal Palace (Palazzo dei Papi), which served as a country residence and a refuge during times when Rome was unsafe. Viterbo's historic center of San Pellegrino is one of the best preserved medieval squares in all of Italy. Here you can see the intact authentic stone walls that were vital in protecting the residents from Papal attacks. As we walk through Viterbo's Piazza della Morte and Piazza del Plebiscito, history can be seen through its magnificent architecture. Viterbo will surprise you with its abundance of rich history.

Bomarzo Gardens or Park of Monsters (see pictures here):

A short drive away from Viterbo rest the enchanted Bomarzo gardens, laid out by Vicino Orsini in the 16th century at Bomarzo. Here you'll find larger-than-life statues sculpted in the bedrock, grotesque masks, and a twisted little house, all unconnected to any rational plan and apparently strewn almost randomly about the area, "solo per Sfogare il Core" ("just to set the heart free") as one inscription on an obelisk says.

This tour will take you to the hidden gems of Naples and nearby Caserta

• • Pick up from the port

  • Your driver will take you to Caserta (40 min drive) where you will visit  Royal Palace of Caserta. Here you will meet your guide for a private guided visit of the royal Palace. The palace was the residence of the king of Naples. It is one of the largest palaces erected in Europe during the 18th century. In 1997, this Baroque masterpiece was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The  Palace, often considered the  Versailles of Italy, is one of the largest  royal residences in the world. 

  • Your private driver will then drive you back to Naples where you will be able to visit the Santa Chiara Monastery. The Monumental Complex of St. Chiara, including the Church, the Monastery and the Convent, had been raised since 1310 to 1328 by the will of the King Roberto d’Angio and his wife Sancia of Majorca. The sovereigns, both devoted to St. Francis of Assisi and St. Chiara, wanted to build a Franciscan citadel that housed in the Convent the Clarisses and in the contiguous Monastery the Friars Minor.   • Your next stop will still be in the historic heart of Naples where your driver will take you to the Sansevero Chapel Museum , a jewel of the world’s artistic heritage. Here, baroque creativity, dynastic pride, beauty and mystery blend to create a unique and almost timeless atmosphere. With its masterpieces such as the famous Veiled Christ, renowned world over for the remarkable tissue-like quality of the marble, feats of virtuosity such as Disillusion, and enigmatic creations such as the Anatomical Machines, the Sansevero Chapel is one of the most impressive monuments that the human mind has ever conceived.  (Independent visit)

• Return to the port
