TRANSFER
First of all you will need a transfer. There are many ways to get from the Airport to the Hotels.
You can choose from private transportation by water taxi or by public transportation.
Keep the link below at hand for your public transportation water lines, which are going to come useful while you are there
Must take the Alilaguna ORANGE line from the Airport. It will arrive at Rialto stop in 1 hour. When you take the waterline send an SMS to the porter with address (just the name of the apartment) and estimated arrival time at Rialto stop.
PORTER Telephone Number: + 39 347 4348 898
Public transportation waterlines map - (does not include Alilaguna lines) - Extremely useful
Alilaguna public transportation water lines - Include mapts, lines, timetables, prices, etc...
TOURS
Private guided tour: your own private guide will take you on a personalized walking tour of 3 hours (price is €240 for the group).
Your guide will be meeting you at your hotel and provide information about the Jewish ghetto and museum if you wish.
There is a very interesting Jewish museum and 5 great synagogues. The Synagogues center and Jewish museum provides group guided tours to 3 of the 5 synagogues for €10 pp (see here for further inflrmation). One nice tour would be to do a 3 hours custom guided tour of Venice with some interesting facts about the Jewish heritage, a visit to the Jewish Museum (led by the guide), followed by a group guide tour of the synagogues (total 4 hours time).
More: Another thing that the kids could enjoy is the Vaporetto dell'arte Venezia (Ho-Ho): this is a fun hop-on hop off style water line. I think it could be quite fun for the kids. Can be prchased on site
