PISA AND FLORENCE
Pick up in the morning from the port right at your ship's pier, reaching Pisa after about 30-40 min. We will stop in Pisa directly in Miracle Square considered one of the world's loveliest squares where you can admire “La Torre Pendente” The leaning Tower, Pisa's majestic Romanesque Cathedral and the unusual round Baptistry. We will continue for approximately 1 hour drive to Florence, traveling through the beautiful countryside of Chianti vineyards and Olives orchards admiring the magnificent landscapes.

In Florence the tour starts with Michelangelo Square where you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of the city. The tour continues in the historical center with stops at the beautiful Santa Croce Square, the Brunelleschi Dome, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio, the bridge famous for its unique charming appearance and for the fabulous jewelry shops If you have time after Florence you can ask your driver to take you to a Chianti Region Winery Estate Visit for an additional €50(extra mileage fee) paid directly to the driver: you have the opportunity to add a visit to a beautiful wine estate in the heart of the Chianti Region for wine tasting and light lunch (see here for the description and click on the photo gallery to see the estate). BEST OF ROME
The driver will pick you up from the ship at 8am. The drive to Rome is about 1hour and 15 min (depending on traffic).
Below are the Highlights of Rome, please look at the list and number in order of importance. I will use this to make an itinerary for your group leaving the least important for time permitting. Please note that the Vatican Museum it takes an hour to walk through the Museum just to see the Sistine Chapel.

Pompeii is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the most visited destinations in Italy. We will reach Pompeii by private car or minivan and spend 2 hours on an independent visit of the site (€11,50 entrance tickets to be purchased on site).
Panoramic drive through Sorrento and see the Bay of Naples as the key place of the Sorrentine Peninsula, and many viewpoints allow sight of Naples itself, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri.

Venice Grand Canal Gondola Ride

Glide along the Venetian canals on a gondola and admire Venice from your unique vantage point. Castelmola and Taormina
From your port, we will enjoy a leisurely transfer to Taormina which will take us up the hillside. Together we will visit the most panoramic square: "Belvedere Square" with its unique breathtaking view over the Messina coast line, all the Taormina bays, the Catania coast line and our volcano Etna in the background. We will then drive to the charming medieval village of Castelmola, just above Taormina. We will stroll several narrow picturesque streets with wonderful views of the sea and Etna. We can also visit the antique 13th century Arab castle, situated on the highest and most panoramic place in the area.
We will then take you to the historical centre of Taormina where you can have your own free time to explore the village, stroll the streets and narrow alleyways with picturesque corners and nice shops. We can suggest a good local place for something to eat. You will also have the time to visit the Greek Theatre (€8 pp entrance tickets not included) and the most important nights of Taormina.
BARCELONA

BARCELONA AND MONSERRAT drop off Hotel
Gothic Section: Barcelona Cathedral, Jewish Section, Roman Ruins. This part of the tour is mainly walking. If you prefer not walking, also it is possible. Old Port and water front: Ramblas, Colombus Memorial, Barceloneta district and beach, Olimpic Village.
All about Gaudi: Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Here you have the option to visit the inside of each site if interested. Montjuich area: Plaza España, Nationale Palace, Olimpic Ring and Montjuic Castle.MUSEUM TICKETS TO BOOK IN ADVANCE: 10AM SAGRADA FAMILIA
The second part of the full day tour offers 2 different routes:
continue for a Tour in Montserrat: visit the beautiful Benedictine Abbey of Montserrat. Enjoy the impressive views. Visit all the interesting points in and around the park.Take a short walk in the park or shop for some local cheese and jam.
OR spend extended time in Barcelona visiting the inside of the Sagrada Familia, visit Camp Nou (football stadium), Tibidabo and of course having some “tapas” at a local restaurant.
