Venice Private Walking tour

This tour will lead you through narrow alleyways, meandering canals, and the peaceful squares of Santa Croce and San Polo. Venice is dense in history and picturesque sites, as we’ll see during our visit to the bustling Rialto Bridge market area, the real heart of Venice and the former international business center. We’ll cross the Grand Canal to the monumental Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square), the political core of the glorious Venetian Republic. Along the way, we’ll include an explanation of all major sites of interest (Ducal Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Bell Tower, Marciana Library, etc.) and, whenever possible, if there are no religious services and "acqua alta" (high water) taking place, a visit to the Basilica.

During this half day tour you will visit two of Montenegro's most famous resorts. St. Stefan and Budva. Those two beautiful medieval settlements, nowadays are outstanding Tourist resorts, historical sites and places of interest for all tourists visiting Montenegro. During this great tour you will get in touch with a flavor of old Medieval culture and heritage in Mediterranean Montenegro.

• • Meet your guide at the port in Kotor (Guide will wait for you in front of the port gate holding a sing with your name)

• Depart for Sveti Stefan.Once a small fisherman village, nowadays it is luxurious tourist resort. The first mention of this island is in the middle of 15th century, when Montenegrin tribe of Pastrovici decided to build fortified city to protect their families during tremendous years or attacks of Pirates. The island is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. On both sides of the mainland near the Island, beautiful sandy beach is spread. The island is private property so it can only be photographed from the shore line.

  • Our next stop is ancient town of Budva, the most famous resort in Montenegro. Budva is considered to be one of the oldest settlements on the Balkan Peninsula. The old town of Budva lies on a little island that was linked to the land by a sandbar and in time turned into a peninsula. It is surrounded by ramparts originating from the XV century including a medieval fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls the town is a combination of narrow streets and little squares with valuable monuments of different Mediterranean cultures.

With this tour, you can combine Ancient and Modern sites of this historical city. Your English guide  will pick you up at the ship's pier and take you to admire the highlights of the Greek capital. You can admire old and new features and stop for the change of the guard in front of the Parliament House. Then you can continue for shopping in the famous Plaka.
