Pick up at cruise ship’s pier (driver will have a sign with your name)
Depart pier and drive along the sea front to see the many beautiful buildings of the area.
Visit one of Mallorca's most important medieval monuments: the Bellver Castle, which stands on a hill and offers an astounding view of Palma and its port.
Drive to Sóller valley/ beach d'En Repic to enjoy beautiful views of Port de Sóller.
Drive back to Palma de Mallorca and take a walking tour of the Gothic quarter, La Seu Cathedral (optional visit), the city hall in Plaza de Cort, Almudaina Palace and the historic stock exchange building (La Lonja), the most important monument in the city center.
Visit Mallorca's famous Jewish quarter, strolling through its narrow, charming streets.
Visit the Renaissance walls surrounding the old town and enjoy the amazing panoramic view.
Drive to the Passeig Maritimo, a waterfront promenade where some of the most important yacht clubs and marinas of Mallorca are located or stay on your own for an independent walk in the city.

Tour Description

AVIGNON: Discover the Pope city with your guide during a walking guided tour of the historic center (40mn). You will see the famous Avignon Bridge, cathedral and garden of the Doms, church Saint Pierre, Horloge square and pope city. CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE: You will reach the village of Châteauneuf du pape dominated by the ancient pope summer residence, an old castle ruin. You will visit 2 different cellars and enjoy 2 wines tasting (€8 per person at each winery) in old cellar used by the Popes at the time they were sovereign in Avignon. The professional sommeliers and owners of the cellars will guide you through tasting of different types of Châteauneuf du Pape wines. Pick up in the morning from the port. Your day tour begins with a one hour drive to Lucca.
Lucca is a tidy gem of a town encased within its famous walls with lots of charm and narrow medieval streets. The city has some wonderful examples of roman, medieval and renaissance architecture, amazing churches, including the Duomo di San Martino which contains the “Volto Santo” (Holy Face), a wooden figure of Christ which is considered to be a true likeness of the face of Christ. Others sights of interest are San Frediano, San Michele Church , Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, Guinigi Tower, Napoleone Square.
Lucca's historical centre is attractive also in shops and elegant boutiques, take a walk on Via Fillungo and enjoy a stop in one of the local cafes and traditional restaurants.
Then we will head for Pisa, your driver will bring you in Piazza dei Miracoli which ranks as one of the world's loveliest squares. You can now admire "La Torre Pendente" the Leaning Tower (purchase tickets separately here), Pisa's majestic Romanesque cathedral and the unusual round Baptistry.

Viterbo

Viterbo is a dazzling ancient city situated between two magnificent lakes, Bolsena and Vico. Enclosed by walls made of lava stone, Viterbo has spectacularly preserved medieval architecture (one of the best in Italy) and an abundance of antique shops. The main attraction in Viterbo is the Papal Palace (Palazzo dei Papi), which served as a country residence and a refuge during times when Rome was unsafe. Viterbo's historic center of San Pellegrino is one of the best preserved medieval squares in all of Italy. Here you can see the intact authentic stone walls that were vital in protecting the residents from Papal attacks. As we walk through Viterbo's Piazza della Morte and Piazza del Plebiscito, history can be seen through its magnificent architecture. Viterbo will surprise you with its abundance of rich history.

Villa Lante

Villa Lante at Bagnaia is a Mannerist garden near Viterbo, attributed to Jacopo Barozzi da Vignola. This 16th-century magnificent villa with its garden is a must see when visiting the area near Viterbo.

Bomarzo Gardens or Park of Monsters

A short drive away from Viterbo rest the enchanted Bomarzo gardens, laid out by Vicino Orsini in the 16th century at Bomarzo. Here you'll find larger-than-life statues sculpted in the bedrock, grotesque masks, and a twisted little house, all unconnected to any rational plan and apparently strewn almost randomly about the area, "solo per Sfogare il Core" ("just to set the heart free") as one inscription on an obelisk says.
