The 'Clouded Funnel' - Christmas Fungus of the Month

Happy Christmas from Scottish Fungi! December's Fungus of the Month is Clitocybe nebularis, or Clouded Funnel. You can read Liz Holden's full profile for this fungus here. Although the main fruiting season in Scotland for this species in September and October, there are records in November, December and January, so since it's not too snowy, worth keeping an eye out for, even now.
