Devil's Tooth (Hydnellum peckii) is one of 15 intriguing 'tooth' fungi that are listed on the UK Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP). It is a species of pinewoods and must surely have lots of sites out there just waiting to be discovered. Improving our understanding of the distribution of our BAP species will help us conserve them much more effectively, so please keep your eyes open and submit your records! You'll find much more information on its Scottish Fungi dossier page.
