Stereotypes and Bias

Everyone has their own stereotypes and biases.

This is in part because w elearn things from others. Knowledge is passed down from generation to generation, and the world changes around us. We learn from our friends, from others, and from experiences. Each of these is inherently a biased source.

Our job is to see, hear, read, experience and incorporate these into our worldview.

Some we discard, some we keep.

By identifying bias and stereotypes we can only hope to change how we see the world around us as global citizens.
