Warm-up activity!

Draw an outline of Canada. On it place as many boarders (provinces, territories and states/countries as you can. Label as many capital cities as you can, and the capital of Canada. No tech allowed!

In-class Assignment:

Choose a small country, or province/territory/state (maybe one you've been to before, or want to go to, or if you have family from a different country or part of the world). 

Draw it, and complete a map (see details above)

Criteria:

hand drawn, outlined, coloured, clear title, compass rose, scale bar, water blue, water bodies labelled, 

(no pencil, all black fine tip, neat, organized, rulered lines make writing perfectly straight, erased after fine tip)
