A pattern that is linear means it's predictably the same...

-Each animal has 4 legs...how many legs would 1 animal have? 2? 3? 4?...

-Each table seats 6 people. How many people can sit at 1 table? 2? 3? 4?...

-it costs $20 to rent a car, then it's 10 cents per kilometer. How much does it cost to rent and drive the car 1 km? 2 km? 3? 4? 50?

-The ice gets smaller over time. it melts 5g per hour. if a 1000g block sits in the sun, how much will it weigh in 1 hr? 2 hrs? 3? 4? 5?
