Math 8 and 9 Unit 1: Integers TEST Coming soon!
Check out the sub-pages to see what's going on in Math these days...
Pre-Math 8
a place to get some refresher videos, instruction, and reteaching of things you should already know when you leave elementary school.
Sadly, not all kids leave Grade 7 with proficient or extending knowledge and ability in Mathematics...and yet here you are in Grade 8. It can be a challenge to be successful without the right foundation.
Do something about it! Ask for help, don't give up, and be willing to work hard at it.
I know that all kids can conquer math...even those of you who really, really don't like it!
Math 8 and 9
These courses build off what elementary school teaches (the basics).
Students who wish to do well in math 8 and 9 will be expected to work hard, use class time well, help build a community of Mathematicians, and when possible share their knowledge and skill with their classmates.
Attitude + Hard Work = success!
Math 8 and 9 are like KEYS to your future...so-to-speak!
How you do determines your future courses in Math and what you can pursue at post-secondary!
Math 10 branches out into 3 different courses:
How you did in Math 9 will determine what course you should take in Grade 10!
