Monday, September 22: Easy Inverse -- the determinant comes through! Determinant of a 3x3, and Cramer's Rule.
HW: 10 problems with Cramer's Rule. See below to download (it's also on your google drive). Instructions:
I just sent out on drive a sheet of ten systems. I want you to try to solve them using Cramer's rule. If you do several and are fine with the solutions (attached), nice job. Try some using Gauss Jordan elimination instead. You should be able to solve systems in the following ways, by hand:
* Gauss Jordan elimination (i.e. augmented matrices)
* Inverse Matrix multiplied by the resultant matrix (this also implies getting an inverse matrix by hand, using either method)
* Cramer's Rule
If you have any questions, please let me know. Make sure you focus on the things that are more difficult, rather than the ones that are easy. You already know how to do things that are easy for you.
