Let's keep this simple...
1) So last time I asked you to sample 15 random people and get their credits for this term.
Talk to me a bit about the process you used last time, and why it was not perhaps truly the best
Talk about any possibilities of undercoverage that would occur when considering asking people how many credits they are taking, and steps you could take to prevent that
Talk to me about how you plan on getting your new sample of 15 people
Get that new sample. Talk to me about any issues that arose in the way you tried to get that sample.
Find the mean of both your new sample and old sample and compare.
Find the range of both your new and old sample, and compare.
Do you think your sample is representative of the population of Bennington? Explain why you do or don't think so.
3) If all the precipitation for Bennington in one year happened at one time and in the form of a snow storm, how many feet of snow would that be? How long would this blizzard last? (use estimation, internet information, and other generalities. we will come up with a consensus in class)
