1. Keep playing the game we learned at the end of class. Try to figure out what's going on and where advantage lies. On Monday you should be able to answer the following questions:
a. Is it better to go first or second? Explain.
b. Is there an optimal strategy? (In other words, is there a way to win every time, regardless of what the other person does?)
c. What happens to the game if instead of 3-4-5, we have 4-5-6?
2. Complete the two attached pdfs. The first one deals with simplifying fractions (the one called 17_fractions). You will go over this with your group in class. The second deals with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions (teh one called fractional_operations, strangely enough). We will go over those in detail together at the start of class.
3. Continue to practice those multiplication facts. We're getting there--keep it up!
