01.28.2013: The ways in which graphs can lie to you. A two-way table (contingency table). A marginal table.
Oh the bad graphs I have seen....
We must come up with some questions for class!
HW: For both questions below, make a good graph of the data and a bad graph of the data. Make them class presentable. The reason we would consider the graph 'bad' can be for various different reasons that we have discussed in class.
p. 36, question 7.
p. 37, question 13. For this question, you may or may not use all of the data. Ask
yourself--"what is the story I want to tell with this data???"
ALSO. CLICK ON THIS LINK AND ENTER YOUR INFORMATION. WE NEED THIS FOR CLASS TOMORROW.

01.31.2013: Start your first data set. This first one will walk you through the entire process. It can be found as an attachement to this webpage called "taters_leaf_revised" because that's how creative I am.
HW: none
02.01.2013: Complete your first data set. Turn it in to me via e-mail. Name it: dataset01_Spears_Aguilera where you put YOUR names where the other names currently are.
HW: read the article: Save the Pies for Dessert.
Be prepared to discuss it in class.
