• • what makes a function move?

    • let's start with absolute value

    • add numbers and look at what they do to the function

    • then to vertex form of a quadratic

    • then to a cubic

    • GENERALIZE

      • does it work with linear?

      • what about exponential (ugh.)

  • generalize and name the parent functions
