Intro Question: Volume of a Box
Concepts Covered:
Parent Functions -- what are they?
All functions act *basically* the same.
If we can graph the basic version of a graph, we can use that to talk about the more complicated versions.
Parent functions: linear, quadratic, cubic, square root [function version], inverse, inverse square, step, cube root
How do all these functions work together?
How can we move these graphs -- make them look like something else?
Domain and Range of Each
Inverse Function
The inputs become the outputs ... and the outputs become in the inputs.
In order to do this, we are either going to have the number go on a journey ... OR ... switch x and y and solve.
