Born Battersea, enlisted London

Harold and Flo were married in London on 10 October 1914 and Flo returned home to Mumbles

The folllowing year their only child, a son Benard, was born. Bernard had a girl Julie and she had two children, Esmie and Alex.

The Mumbles Press reported that immediately after the marriage, in October 1914 of Harold and Flora, the bridegroom left for Aldershot to rejoin his unit.
