This entry shows that I have read and responded to the genre of poetry.
Performance Task:
Read at least 10 published poems from a variety of writers.
Two of these poems will be shared as a class. The remaining poems are read individually, found in a variety of books provided in class.
Choose three poems to read and discuss with a partner.
Choose one of the shared poems to develop a MovieMaker presentation.
I have read at least 10 poems as shown on my poetry chart.

I have created a MovieMaker presentation for one of the shared poems. My Movie includes images to represent the message of the poem, title and credit frames, a voice over recording of the poem and background music.
